Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides online therapy for adolescents (13+) and adults. My background includes outpatient therapy, integrated behavioral health, crisis intervention, medical social work and hospice care. These experiences have shaped the whole-person perspective I bring to therapy and given me experience supporting people through a wide range of challenges and life circumstances. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, chronic illness and pain, suicidal thoughts, identity-related concerns and major life transitions. I strive to create a warm, affirming space where you can feel comfortable being yourself while we work together toward the changes that matter to you.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and individualized to each person rather than one-size-fits-all. I draw from approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, mindfulness, and self-compassion while focusing on what is most useful for your needs and goals. I balance having space to talk and feel heard with learning practical skills and exploring new ways of responding to difficult thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Above all, I want therapy to feel like a supportive partnership where you can show up as yourself and have an active voice in your care.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will spend time getting to know each other and talking about what brings you to therapy, what has been going on in your life, and what you hope to gain from our work together. We will explore your needs, strengths, experiences, and goals while beginning to identify what might be most helpful moving forward. You will also have space to ask questions, share what has or has not worked for you in the past, and let me know what you need from therapy. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and clearer about what our work together could look like.
