Zyra Guyon

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado and Oregon with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of New Orleans and a Master’s degree in School Counseling from the University of Holy Cross. My experience includes working as a school counselor with children from K–12, providing addiction treatment as a clinical supervisor in an intensive inpatient rehabilitation program, and working as a mental health professional in multiple county jails throughout Colorado. I have also worked extensively with individuals and families who have experienced or witnessed domestic and/or sexual violence.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, low self-worth, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, trauma-related concerns, and difficulties with emotional regulation. I also support individuals who are working through the effects of past experiences and want to develop healthier ways of coping rather than continuing to feel stuck in old patterns.

You can expect me to meet you where you are. I value honesty, authenticity, and collaboration, and I believe you should have an active voice in your treatment. My role is not to tell you what you should do, but to help you gain insight, identify your values and goals, challenge unhelpful patterns, and develop the confidence to make decisions that align with the person you want to be.

I want therapy to feel like a place where you can take a breath, be yourself, and know that you don't have to have everything figured out before you walk through the door.
