Great to meet you!

Life can be unpredictable, filled with moments of stress, uncertainty, and past hurts that hold us back. Drawing on my background as a retired member of the U.S. Air Force, I bring discipline, commitment, and a compassionate understanding of life's challenges to my practice. As a husband and father of four, I know firsthand the importance of building strong, supportive relationships and nurturing a sense of connection and purpose. My journey in higher education began with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice in 2019, followed by earning a Master’s in Social Work from Walden University in 2022.

Additionally, being EMDR trained and well-versed in a variety of therapeutic approaches allows me to customize treatment plans that address your unique needs, whether you're dealing with anxiety, trauma, or relationship challenges.

When we're in session, you'll find a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions. Together, we'll work to dismantle unhelpful patterns and build the skills necessary for a balanced, fulfilling life. Let's embark on this journey to uncover your inner strength and create lasting, positive change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, client-centered, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel genuinely understood, respected, and empowered in the therapeutic process. I work from a trauma-informed lens, helping clients make sense of how past experiences shape current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Sessions are structured yet flexible, balancing thoughtful reflection with practical skill-building. By integrating approaches such as EMDR, cognitive-behavioral strategies, and relational work, I tailor treatment to meet each client’s unique goals, strengths, and readiness for change. My role is not to tell you who to be, but to walk alongside you as you gain insight, build resilience, and move toward a life that feels more aligned and fulfilling.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a supportive, low-pressure conversation focused on getting to know you and what brings you to therapy. We’ll discuss your concerns, goals, relevant history, and what you hope to gain from the therapeutic process, at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I’ll also explain how therapy works, answer any questions you may have, and collaborate with you on next steps. This session is not about having all the answers, it’s about establishing trust, clarity, and a sense of direction. By the end, you should have a clearer understanding of how we can work together and feel confident that therapy is a space where you can show up as you are.
