Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in several states with over 10 years of experience working as an individual/family therapist have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns and with various populations including Military and LBGTQ+.

My approach to therapy

My counseling style is warm, open and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, client centered, mindfulness and strengthening the innate positive qualities that everyone possesses.

What you can expect from me

In your first therapy session we’ll focus on getting to know each other so you feel comfortable and understood. I’ll gather background information about your personal, medical, and mental health history and discuss the concerns that brought you to therapy to better understand your situation. We’ll identify areas to focus on, set initial, achievable goals, and create a preliminary treatment plan together. We’ll also cover practical details like session length, frequency, confidentiality, and cancellations, and you’ll have time to ask any questions. You don’t need to have everything figured out—just come ready to share what feels most important to you.
