Great to meet you!

Dr. Al is a licensed psychologist specializing in ADHD testing, therapy for anxiety/depression, and support for professionals facing burnout. He provides comprehensive ADHD evaluations, veteran Nexus letters, and evidence-based treatment that understands the intersection of neurodivergence and high-pressure careers.

My approach to therapy

We'll start by seeing if we're a strong match, I want you to feel heard and supported. My approach is a blend of traditional therapy with more direct coaching, and I'll adapt based on what you need. If at any point I'm not the best fit for your needs, I'll help connect you with someone who is. I approach the intake with a more holistic approach (identifying nutrition, exercise, physical health) in addition to emotional concerns, I tend to be more direct in my approach and less "passive" in therapy. We'll set clear goals and work towards them so that you feel like you're making the progress you want to make.

What you can expect from me

We will start our work together by identifying what you need out of therapy, then we can decide on some goals to get you to where you want to be.
