Great to meet you!

Sometimes life doesn't just change, it collapses: divorce, betrayal, a custody conflict, or a future that looks nothing like what you planned. I'm Allyn Latorre, a licensed clinical social worker who has spent over a decade helping adults rebuild after exactly this kind of disruption. My approach is direct, practical, and trauma-informed. You don't need to have it figured out before reaching out; most people call me in the middle of something overwhelming, and that's exactly the right time to start.

My approach to therapy

My work blends solution-focused strategies, narrative therapy, trauma-informed care, and CBT and ACT tools, grounded in what's actually happening in your life right now. I'll help you find immediate relief from what feels unmanageable, while also making space to understand the deeper patterns keeping you stuck. Session to session, that might look like naming what feels wrong, untangling a co-parenting conflict, or rebuilding a sense of self after betrayal or major loss. I move at whatever pace fits you: practical when you need concrete tools, reflective when you're ready to go deeper.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance to tell your story to someone who will listen without judgment. We'll talk through what brought you in, what's felt hardest, and what you're hoping shifts. From there we build a plan together: clear, collaborative, and paced to what you can take on right now. You'll leave sessions with practical tools you can use immediately, and over time, a steadier sense of who you are and where you're headed.
