Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master’s degree in Social Work and over a decade of experience in the mental health field. My background includes trauma-informed work in correctional and structured care settings, where I supported adults navigating the long-term effects of stress, loss, attachment patterns, and major life transitions.

I work with adults who feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected from themselves after years of coping through responsibility, self-reliance, or chronic stress. Many of the people I work with are navigating anxiety, grief, relationship patterns, or periods of transition and are looking for space to reflect, gain clarity, and move forward with greater self-understanding.

And because I work remotely, you may occasionally be joined by my very cute fur baby, Luna. She’s a quiet observer, an excellent napper, and fully HIPAA compliant.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is grounded, relational, and collaborative. I pay close attention to patterns, emotional responses, and how stress, relationships, and life changes are showing up in your day-to-day experience. Many people I work with already have insight into the “why” of their struggles; therapy becomes a space to slow down, reflect, and make sense of what’s happening now so that change feels more sustainable and aligned.

I also offer Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) as a standalone, short-term option for people who want focused support around a specific memory, emotional experience, or pattern that feels stuck, repetitive, unresolved, or distressing. ART can be especially helpful when something feels like it keeps “looping,” even after you’ve talked about it or understand the “why.”

ART is typically approached as a brief course of work (often 1–5 sessions) and does not require you to talk through events in detail. Sessions focus on identifying a general theme, feeling, or experience, without needing to explain what happened or revisit painful specifics. Because of this, many people experience ART as more contained and less overwhelming than other trauma-focused approaches they may be familiar with, such as EMDR.

Clients often describe ART as helping things feel less charged, less intrusive, or easier to hold, even when the issue itself has been present for a long time.To learn more about ART, you can visit: https://acceleratedresolutiontherapy.com

What you can expect from me

In our first session, the priority is helping you feel comfortable and understood. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy now, what you’re hoping for, and what hasn’t worked for you in the past. The session is meant to feel like a conversation and a chance to get a sense of how it feels to work together. It’s important to me that you leave the first session feeling supported and knowing you have an ally alongside you in this part of your life.
