Great to meet you!

You’re exhausted, on edge, and doing your best to hold it together while trauma, PTSD, depression, and anxiety keep crashing over you. I’m Dr. Anaia Leilani Keali’i‐Jolie, experienced in high‐acuity mental health and change. Maybe therapy hasn’t really worked before—you talked, but nothing shifted, and you’re still replaying memories, feeling jumpy, snapping or shutting down, struggling to sleep, or moving through the day numb and disconnected. In our work together, we take your pain seriously, connect the dots between your past and present, and create the kind of change that actually lasts. I am licensed in Alaska, California, Washington, Maine, Virginia, Maryland, Hawaii, South Carolina, Georgia, California, and North Carolina.

My approach is integrative and grounded in understanding you as a whole person. I draw from psychodynamic and insight-oriented therapy to explore how your past shapes your present; metacognitive and solution-focused methods to help you relate to your mind differently; trauma-informed care that prioritizes safety, pacing, and trust; and ecopsychology, which honors the healing connection between human wellbeing and the natural world.

I specialize in trauma recovery — including childhood, relational, identity-based, and intergenerational trauma — as well as PTSD, CPTSD, anxiety, bipolar spectrum disorders, and major life transitions. This is never just talk therapy.

Above all, this is your space — private, confidential, and entirely yours. I am here to walk alongside you as you build resilience, deepen self-compassion, and reclaim safety and agency in your life.

I look forward to meeting you.
