Great to meet you!

Hello, I am Dr. Alleyne. I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 12 years of counseling experience. I have a doctorate in psychology (specialization - health psychology). You can expect a warm, safe, and non-judgmental environment as we create a plan together specifically for you.

I have extensive experience in treating mood disorders including, depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, conflict resolution, and anger management.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is one of guiding. You will lead with your symptoms and the outcomes that you want to achieve, and I will assist you in identifying your strengths to reduce/eliminate your symptoms and meet your goals. I take a holistic approach that addresses the mental, physical, and (if religious or spiritual) this third domain to address and build upon.

What you can expect from me

A number of practical tools and strategies that can be used to reinforce and consistently reduce mental health symptoms. Problem-solving techniques to carry with you and utilize even if your psychotherapy sessions come to an end.
