Great to meet you!

My name is Angela Jackson. I am a board certified, licensed professional counselor in the states of Texas, Hawaii, Maryland and Virginia. I graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology and Management from Campbell University and a Masters in Counseling from Wake Forest University in North Carolina. I have worked with the National Board for Certified Counselors, the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Defense supporting federal and military personnel, as well as in private practice.

My approach to therapy

In my educational training, I have come to adopt a counseling approach that is eclectic – derived from cognitive-behavioral, narrative, person-centered and, solution-focused therapies. This integrative counseling approach strives to balance mindful awareness, fosters genuine empathetic relationships and enriches our collaborative effort in identifying what changes can be made to minimize emotional and behavioral disturbances.

What you can expect from me

My primary goal is to provide non-judgmental support while guiding you as you navigate your personal journey. My role is to assist you in reaching new, higher and healthy goals. I strive to empower you and assist you in establishing and expanding healthier awareness.

It takes courage, vulnerability and strength to reveal and meet the parts of use that are sacred and hidden. I thank you and applaud your willingness and openness.
