Great to meet you!

Hello! I'm Anna, and I have been passionate about mental health across my life, leading to a dedication to the helping feilds that ultimately lead to my becoming a therapist. I completed my Masters in Counseling, at Lewis and Clark, and am a Licensed Professional Counselor with the state of Oregon, practicing since 2019.

I work with clients who may be facing new life stressors, relationship or family stressors, or issues with anxiety and/or depression. I have been especially drawn to working with individuals who are exploring questions of meaning, purpose, and motivation, particularly when they feel stuck, disconnected, or uncertain about their next steps. I enjoy helping people better understand themselves, reconnect with what matters to them, and build a life that feels authentic and meaningful. I work closely with, and am an ally of the LGBTQ+ community.

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in empathy, open-mindedness, creativity, and curiosity. I believe we as humans are wired for love and connection, and aren't meant to heal in isolation. I have a passion for helping individuals feel more empowered navigating life's challenges, work through past traumas, and feel an increased sense of connection to self and others.

I use a person centered approach, individualizing care to each client. I draw from my training and experience in a variety of evidenced based practices, while also taking into account the unique indvidual in front of me. I prioritze collaboration, and feel strongly about feedback informed care.

What you can expect from me

I feel the connection one has with their therapist is incredibly important, and will spend intentional time getting to know you and meet you where you are at, as trust needs time and intentional cultivation. We will then explore problems and concerns, and collaboratively establish your therapy goals that you would like to focus on, while still leaving space to allow for what needs to develop organically.
