Great to meet you!

I’ve been dedicated to helping Black women on their healing journeys for over a decade. In my personal life and professional practice, I truly understand the nuances of the therapy journey. If you're suffering from burnout, I'm here to support you. If you're facing life transitions such as a divorce, a new job, becoming an empty nester, or retirement, I can guide you through these changes. If you're feeling depressed or hopeless, together we can work to find your light and your purpose again.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I believe in creating a safe, open space where clients feel comfortable expressing their thoughts and feelings. By engaging in genuine and direct conversations, I aim to build a strong therapeutic relationship founded on trust and mutual respect. I also use humor, when appropriate; I find that it brings so much perspective and levity to a session. My clients are encouraged to take an active role in their healing and personal growth.

What you can expect from our first session

We will create goals for you to work towards, practical coping skills to manage stress and emotions, and effective communication techniques to improve relationships. Additionally, you will receive psycho-education to better understand your mental health and emotional support to feel heard and validated throughout their healing journey.
