Great to meet you!

I know reaching out for mental health care can feel overwhelming, especially when you’ve been trying to manage everything on your own. My goal is to provide a supportive, judgment-free space where you feel heard, understood, and actively involved in your care.

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of nursing experience. I provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults experiencing ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, panic symptoms, insomnia, and other mental health concerns.

My approach is collaborative and practical. I take time to understand not only your symptoms, but also how they are affecting your relationships, school, work, sleep, and everyday life. We’ll discuss treatment options together and create a plan that fits your individual needs and goals.

Whether you're seeking treatment for the first time, restarting care, or looking for a provider who will listen to your concerns about your current treatment, I’m here to help you take the next step toward feeling and functioning better.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is warm, collaborative, and individualized. I believe you deserve more than a quick appointment and a prescription—you deserve to feel heard and understand the “why” behind your treatment plan.

During our visits, I take time to understand your symptoms, concerns, lifestyle, and treatment goals. Together, we’ll explore medication options when appropriate, discuss potential benefits and side effects, and make decisions that feel comfortable and realistic for you.

I also recognize that mental health can affect every part of life, including sleep, relationships, school, work, and physical well-being. My goal is to look at the whole picture and create a treatment plan that supports both symptom improvement and your overall quality of life.

Most importantly, I want our visits to feel like a partnership. I welcome questions, encourage open communication, and want you to feel comfortable telling me when something is—or isn’t—working.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. While I’ll ask important intake questions about your symptoms, medical history, medications, and previous treatment, I approach the evaluation as a conversation rather than a checklist.

I want to understand you as a whole person—what brought you to care, what you’ve been experiencing, what’s important to you, and what you hope will improve. You’ll also have plenty of time to ask questions and share any concerns about treatment.

By the end of our visit, we’ll discuss my recommendations and work together to develop a treatment plan that feels comfortable, realistic, and tailored to your needs.
