Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with training in both primary care and psychiatric mental health. I have extensive experience providing care in community, correctional, and integrated care settings, where I work with individuals managing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, and other mental health concerns.

I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and respected. I value thoughtful assessment, clear communication, and collaborative decision-making to help clients better understand their symptoms and treatment options. My goal is to partner with each client to develop a personalized care plan that supports both mental and overall well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative and client-centered. I take time to understand each person’s concerns, history, and goals, and I believe treatment works best when clients are active participants in their care. I use evidence-based practices and, when appropriate, medication management combined with education and supportive strategies.

I focus on practical, sustainable treatment plans and ongoing follow-up to ensure care is effective and aligned with each client’s needs. I aim to support clients in making informed decisions and building skills that promote long-term stability and improved quality of life.

What you can expect from me

During your first visit, we will focus on getting to know you and understanding your concerns, symptoms, and goals for care. I will complete a comprehensive assessment that includes your mental health history, medical background, current medications, and any factors that may be affecting your overall well-being.

You can expect a collaborative and nonjudgmental conversation where questions are encouraged. Together, we will discuss possible diagnoses, treatment options, and next steps. If appropriate, we may begin a treatment plan that could include education, lifestyle recommendations, therapy referrals, or medication management.

My goal is for you to leave the first visit feeling heard, informed, and supported, with a clear understanding of the plan moving forward.
