Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor whose approach to therapy integrates depth, structure, and compassion. I work from a trauma-informed, strengths-based perspective, helping clients understand how past experiences, identity, and environment shape their current thoughts, emotions, and relationships. My goal is to support clients in developing greater emotional awareness, improving regulation, and creating healthier, more sustainable patterns in their lives.

My approach to therapy

I take a collaborative and intentional approach, meeting clients where they are while gently guiding them toward meaningful change. I balance insight-oriented work with practical skill-building so clients not only gain understanding, but also feel equipped to apply that growth in their daily lives. My style is warm, supportive, and direct, allowing space for both validation and honest reflection.

I strive to create an environment where clients feel safe, respected, and empowered, with a strong emphasis on culturally responsive and equitable care.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a supportive and nonjudgmental space where we begin getting to know one another. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, and any goals you may have. I may ask questions about your background, relationships, and past experiences to better understand the full picture of what you’re navigating.

There is no pressure to share everything at once—this is your space, and we will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. By the end of the session, we’ll begin identifying initial goals and discuss how we can work together moving forward.
