Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who holds a master’s degree in nursing from Frontier Nursing University. As an independent practitioner I can diagnose and treat mental health conditions with full prescriptive authority and order diagnostic labs as appropriate. With nearly 15 years of nursing experience, my passion for patient and family-centered care has evolved from working the on the front lines as an ICU RN during the covid-19 pandemic to addressing the mental health crisis impacting all of our communities as a nurse practitioner.

My approach to therapy

I believe in partnering with patients to provide patient-centered care. My goal is to earn your trust and collaborate with you to come up with the most effective way to improve your quality of life. I am comfortable treating a wide variety of mental health concerns across the lifespan from ages six and older including treating veterans, first-responders, men, women, and LGBTQ+ populations. I believe in a compassionately-holistic approach that promotes both physical and mental health.

What you can expect from me

I establish care by meeting my patients where they are in life and getting to know as much as they feel comfortable disclosing in our first visit. My goal is to come out of our first session with a plan and patient-centered goals. My ongoing commitment is to provide tools and strategies that we adjust over time together with the overall goal of improving quality of life.
