Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed psychotherapist in Michigan, Florida, North Carolina, and Texas. I graduated from The University of Olivet in 2015 with a degree in psychology, earned my master’s in clinical social work from the University of Southern California in 2016, and completed my Doctor of Social Work (DSW) at Capella University in 2022.

With nearly a decade of experience, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, co-occurring disorders, and personal growth. I also have experience supporting clients managing personality disorders and psychosis.

My therapeutic style is collaborative, grounded, and compassionate. I believe in creating a space where you feel truly heard and understood—where you can lay down the weight you’ve been carrying and begin to rebuild from a place of strength. I approach therapy through an integrative lens, using evidence-based practices to tailor treatment to your specific needs.

My goal is to help you develop the tools and insight to move toward healing, clarity, and confidence. Whether you’re managing daily stress, processing trauma, or working to understand yourself more deeply, I’ll walk alongside you every step of the way—supporting your journey toward balance and emotional well-being.

My approach to therapy

I believe every person holds the ability to heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves. My role is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are—without having to filter, perform, or hide the parts of yourself that need care. Together, we’ll slow down, explore what’s been weighing on you, and begin building the balance you’ve been craving.

My approach is holistic and collaborative. I draw from evidence-based practices like CBT, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy, but I always tailor each session to fit you—your story, your pace, and your goals. Therapy with me isn’t one-size-fits-all; it’s a partnership rooted in compassion, curiosity, and real-life tools you can use beyond our sessions.

We’ll focus on strengthening emotional resilience, managing stress, setting boundaries, and improving communication in your relationships. I’ll help you deepen your self-awareness so you can make intentional choices and feel more grounded in who you are. Along the way, we’ll explore how physical wellness, rest, and self-care connect to your emotional balance.

This space is also about rediscovering joy—what makes you feel most alive and fulfilled. Whether you’re healing from past pain, navigating a transition, or simply seeking clarity, my goal is to help you move toward peace, purpose, and confidence in your daily life.

Therapy with me is warm, genuine, and real. I’m not here to fix you—I’m here to walk alongside you as you learn to trust yourself again, find your rhythm, and build a life that feels balanced and whole.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is the beginning of a safe, collaborative space designed just for you. My goal is to create an atmosphere where you can exhale, feel heard, and begin unpacking what brought you to therapy—without judgment or pressure.

During our first meeting, we’ll take time to get to know one another and explore what’s currently showing up in your life. I’ll ask questions about your background, experiences, relationships, and goals, while also inviting you to share what feels most important to you in this season. Together, we’ll begin identifying patterns, challenges, and strengths that will help guide our work.

You can expect a relaxed and conversational pace. I often describe the first session as setting the foundation—we’ll clarify what you want to gain from therapy, discuss your preferences, and outline a direction for our sessions. This may include goals such as:

  • Strengthening emotional awareness and stress management
  • Developing healthy boundaries and communication patterns
  • Finding balance between work, relationships, and self-care
  • Healing from past experiences and cultivating self-compassion
  • Reconnecting with your purpose, peace, and confidence

My approach is holistic and integrative, blending cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness-based, and person-centered techniques to help you make meaningful change. Every session is tailored to your needs, pacing, and comfort level.

Above all, I aim to create an environment of safety, curiosity, and growth—where vulnerability is met with understanding, and where each step forward is taken at your own rhythm. By the end of our first session, you’ll have a clearer sense of your goals, the therapeutic process, and how we’ll work together to help you move toward healing and balance.
