Great to meet you!

The complexities of life can be hard to maneuver, but understanding who you are in the midst of it all can make things a little easier.

As a social worker and mental health counselor who leads with empathy and understanding, I view myself as a resource to help you reach mental and emotional homeostasis in your own way. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing, we will work together to reach goals that affirm you and we will break habits that are hurting your mental health instead of helping it.

I received my Master of Social Work degree from the University of North Texas in 2022, but have been operating in the mental health space since 2019. My work

emphasizes self-equitable resilience with a focus on "controlling the controllables;" investigating one's inner motivations to live a sustainable life. This work is not solely limited to talk therapy sessions as my interest in acquatics, political engagement, relationships, community development, and literacy are all interwoven into my practice and resources I provide.

Lastly, therapy is what I do, but not solely who I am. Outside of work, I love to explore different food scenes with my wife, swim, walk, watch a good show or movie, and travel as much I can with family and friends.

My approach to therapy

Our mind is the greatest determinant of how we navigate this world, so it serves us best when it is in good condition. Grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, relationship woes, self-doubt, spiritual dissatisfaction, and natural life transitions are all areas that can place a heavy weight on the mind. I specialize in helping adults face these issues head-on.

I work with clients virtually at the moment and have weekday evenings available.

Know that being who you are, even in your worst moments, is still the best thing that you can be. The best version of who you are is closer than you think. Let’s get started.

What you can expect from me

Therapy is all about you. In our first session we will gain context, establish a space that feels safe for you, and plan how we are going to do the work that gets you closer to your greatest self.
