Great to meet you!

I am a licensed family counselor in New York, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, and Utah, with over 15 years of experience as a case manager. I have extensive experience supporting clients facing a wide range of concerns, including depression, social anxiety, childhood trauma, relationship challenges, parenting difficulties, career transitions, autism spectrum disorder, OCD, and ADHD. In addition, I have worked with many individuals who have experienced physical trauma and emotional abuse, helping them build resilience and move toward healing.

My approach to therapy

My counseling style is warm, collaborative, and interactive. I believe in treating every individual with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I avoid the use of stigmatizing labels. My approach draws from evidence-based modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), humanistic, psychodynamic, solution-focused, and rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT). I also incorporate insights from my professional development and travel experiences, applying them to strengthen personal relationships and enhance communication skills. Each treatment plan is tailored to your unique needs, ensuring that our work together supports your growth, resilience, and well-being.

What you can expect from me

Beginning therapy can mean different things to different people. Taking the step to seek support is both an act of courage and self-care, and it is completely normal to feel some nervousness at the start. Therapy provides a safe, confidential, and supportive space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences—especially those you may not feel comfortable sharing with family or friends. In some cases, you may be willing to open up to loved ones, but they may not have the tools to provide the guidance or support you need. Therapy helps to bridge that gap by offering a professional, nonjudgmental forum where your concerns are heard and validated.

In our work together, you can expect a collaborative process tailored to your unique goals and needs. Sessions are designed to help you gain insight, develop practical coping strategies, and strengthen communication and relationship skills. Over time, therapy can support you in fostering resilience, improving emotional well-being, and creating meaningful change in your life.

I welcome openness and curiosity throughout our work together, and I encourage you to ask any questions at any point in the process.
