Great to meet you!

I started my work at an outpatient healthcare clinic in Baltimore City primarily assisting those who were unhoused. During this work, I partnered with many diverse individuals. As I got to know them and our relationships developed, I realized how valuable it was to spend time with them in their communities and to understand their backgrounds. I developed a deep appreciation of how challenging it can be to share your story with others. This is why I feel a profound calling to walk alongside individuals as they heal from trauma and navigate major life upheavals.

My approach to therapy

Over the past 13 years, I have had the privilege of supporting adults, adolescents, and families as they navigate life’s most meaningful and challenging transitions. My approach centers on your unique strengths, resilience, and inner wisdom, meeting you exactly where you are and providing a safe, collaborative space to heal and grow.

In our work together, I integrate evidence-based approaches tailored to your needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to reframe unhelpful patterns, Internal Family Systems (IFS) to foster deep self-compassion and understanding of your inner parts, and art therapy to explore and process emotions when words feel like they fall short. While my leadership background in community mental health has deeply grounded my clinical practice, my true passion is walking alongside individuals on their personal journey toward balance, self-discovery, and authentic healing.

What you can expect from me

Talking with a therapist can feel challenging. We will take our time in exploring the issues that feel the most important to you in a compassionate way that feels most closely aligned with your goals. Our first session will be focused on relevant information to achieving those goals and Our first session will be focused on relevant information to achieving those goals and collaboratively mapping out a comfortable starting point. We will discuss what you hope to gain from our work together, review any background details that feel helpful to share, and ensure you feel completely in the driver's seat regarding the pace and direction of our sessions.
