Great to meet you!

You have a story. You may be just starting out, mid-way through, or looking at the conclusion. If you're here, then your story isn't done yet. It would be an honor to walk through this next chapter with you. With almost 20 years of experience and education, I use a variety of approaches to find the solutions that work for you. I'm an author and trainer in areas of attachment, trauma and adoption but also work with grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and other symptoms that are impacting your story. I'm ready to walk alongside you so remember you don't have to walk alone.

My approach to therapy

I like to focus on symptom management instead of diagnosis, working on the goals that are important to you. We can talk about changing thoughts and behaviors, growing your relationships, managing emotions through coping and self care, or finding support for all the things about life that we have no control over.

What you can expect from me

A therapeutic relationship takes time to build, but often we know within the first session if this is a good start based on personality and approach. As you share your story, I hope to provide a warm and welcoming environment where trust can build so we can talk about the thoughts and feelings, the parts of your story, that may be most important to you right now. Together, we can make a plan to address the symptoms that are bringing you here.
