Dameon K. Clay, Ed.S., NCC, is the Founder and Clinical Director of Silver Lining Counseling & Consulting Services. Based in Tampa, Florida, he is a licensed mental health therapist, educator, and consultant with more than 25 years of experience helping individuals, families, and communities navigate life's challenges and transitions.

With over 17 years of experience as a school counselor,

Dameon has developed expertise in adolescent development, family dynamics, executive functioning, reunification therapy, and men's mental health. He is known for his collaborative, strengths-based approach, empowering clients to identify solutions, build resilience, and create meaningful change in their lives.

Drawing from Solution-Focused, Cognitive Behavioral, and Positive Psychology approaches, Dameon works diligently with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families to foster emotional wellness, strengthen relationships, and maximize personal growth. He is also recognized for his work in student-athlete mental wellness, helping high school, collegiate, and professional athletes enhance performance, manage transitions, and develop the mental skills necessary for success both on and off the field.

Mr. Clay utilizes a strengths-based, solution-focused approach to therapy that emphasizes collaboration, personal empowerment, and meaningful growth. He works alongside clients to identify their inherent strengths, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and develop practical strategies for overcoming life's challenges. Through a blend of cognitive and evidence-based therapeutic interventions, Mr. Clay helps clients enhance self-awareness, improve decision-making, strengthen emotional resilience, and create lasting positive change. His goal is to foster a supportive environment where individuals feel empowered to achieve greater clarity, confidence, and overall well-being.
