Dana Foster

(Fostered Healthcare, LLC) I am a Family Medicine and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and I provide holistic mental health care. I provide care to individuals seeking medication management for their mental health. Healthcare has been my profession of choice since I was an adolescent, which has blossomed into a career of great commitment and compassion for the health and wellness of others. Combining my medical practice and mental health practice, I aim to provide symptom relief for individuals seeking care for the mind and body.

I completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Howard University. After 12 years as a dedicated registered nurse, I completed my Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner. Thereafter, I obtained my post-Master's Certificate for Psychiatry and Mental Health at the George Washington University.

I approach patient's mental health, holistically, always considering patients' self-care, self-perception, medical needs and home life. All of these components impact daily living. ***(Note: I see *NEW* patients on Monday and Friday).

In leaving a medication management session, the goal is that you will feel empowered, informed and in control of your treatment plan.
