Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Addiction and Mental Health Therapist with 17 years of clinical experience, currently licensed in TX, NC, CA, and MN. I have had the privilege of supporting individuals and families in many settings, including (but not limited to) hospitals, schools, addiction treatment programs, mental health centers, military, churches, and corrections services.

My approach to therapy

My clinical focus includes anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, substance use, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship challenges, and more. I use various evidence-based approaches based on a solid foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution-Focused Therapy to focus primarily on who you are, how you think, what your unique needs are, and how to partner with you to achieve desired goals producing meaningful and lasting change on your path of restoration, self-enhancement, redemption, and healing. For those who desire it, I also provide Christian counseling.

What you can expect from me

We all face challenges at times, in which we may feel stuck, confused, and alone. It is okay to need support to help you bounce back and gain the wisdom to move forward. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, trauma, or just going through a tough season—you are not alone. I am here to help you carry what feels heavy and find your way during this trying time.

I believe that trust is a critical component of effective therapy. It is my heart’s desire to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel seen, heard, valued, and genuinely supported in expressing your thoughts and feelings, while gaining understanding, strength, confidence, and other empowering tools needed to regain control of your life, especially in these times of great uncertainty.
