Deborah Malanga

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over eight years of nursing experience across behavioral health, medical-surgical, and acute care settings. I completed my advanced psychiatric training at Walden University and have provided care for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults in both outpatient and telehealth settings. My clinical expertise includes treating ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and sleep disorders.

My approach is collaborative and personalized. I primarily focus on psychiatric evaluation and medication management, while incorporating brief supportive therapy to help clients build coping skills and feel empowered in their treatment. I believe care should be compassionate, culturally sensitive, and tailored to each person’s unique needs. Together, we will set clear goals, monitor progress, and make adjustments to ensure your treatment plan works for you.

During your first session, we will take time to discuss your history, current concerns, and treatment goals. I will complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, explain treatment options including medication when appropriate and answer any questions you may have. You can expect a welcoming, judgment-free environment where your voice is heard. By the end of our session, you will have a clear plan for next steps and a sense of partnership in your care.
