Great to meet you!

While this may be a difficult time for you, please know that there are many avenues we can explore to help alleviate your pain, organize your thoughts, motivate you to achieve your goals for a healthy and even joyful life.

While I have credentials and education to inform our treatment alliance, I also have life experience that helps me to understand on a deep level your personal history. I am a wife, mother, grandmother who has years of professional experience working with adults, teens and children informing my understanding, my ability to assess and help you grow into a new level of peace, wellness and competence.

My approach to therapy

My approach is:

Strengths Based

I believe in your ability to heal! We will focus on providing an individualized foundation of self-care chosen by you to facilitate optimal mental health throughout the your lifespan.

Integrative

My training has been extensive, enabling integration of many evidence-based approaches as we work together to address areas of your experience that are interfering with your pursuit of happiness. These treatments include TF-CBT (trauma focused-cognitive behavioral therapy); CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy); ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy); EMDR; Guided Imagery; Hypnosis; MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction); Biofeedback; and a variety of other mind-body medicine techniques. Additionally, Art, Music, Movement, and traditional talk therapy to explore issues are options frequently chosen to be included. By integrating approaches we agree will be helpful, you will be developing a repertoire of lifelong skills!

Mind Body

Working together using an integrated mind body treatment approach to address your anxiety, including OCD, depression, PTSD and other traumatic issues, we will work towards improving your ability to manage the negative effects that are interfering with your pursuit of a productive life.

Listening to you, understanding what is bringing you to therapy and together formulating an overall plan to introduce you to support and skills to provide a pathway to resolve the challenges in your life with confidence.
