Great to meet you!

"Pressure makes Diamonds; Irritation makes Pearls" - is my motto.

I am a unique combination of experiences - my ethnicity, gender and life experiences contribute to my understanding of the world. I am more than a textbook counselor with an undeniable edge in building rapport and acknowledging my empathy to help.

I am supportive and accepting of people. My ethics are high and firmly established which gives me an edge that helps me successfully reach others in order to help.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I rely on acceptance, trust, effective communication, the positive impact of cognitive behavioral techniques, and client-centered approaches when working with clients.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect to work in session - cognitive behavior techniques require practice. I will also provide a trusting listening environment where clients can be themselves without masking parts of themselves where they may believe others would judge them. I offer a safe, judgement-free, accepting space for clients to heal and achieve their goals.
