Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed mental health and addiction counselor with 17+ years of experience across military, medical, and community settings. I’ve worked with service members, families, couples, and medically complex clients, providing care from crisis to long-term growth. My approach is direct, honest, and skills-based, drawing from CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care to help clients take action, build resilience, and create lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is integrative, grounded in existential theory and tailored to each client. I draw from CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing, along with mindfulness, breathwork, and relaxation techniques. My style is direct, collaborative, and focused on real change—helping clients understand patterns, build practical skills, and take action in a supportive, goal-oriented space.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect the first session to be focused on understanding what brings them to therapy, their current challenges, and what they hope to change. We will begin identifying goals that are specific to their needs and circumstances. The session is also a chance to get a sense of my approach, ask questions, and decide what support and direction will be most helpful moving forward.
