E. Kimberly Dunbar is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) serving clients in Washington, DC, Maryland, and North Carolina. She is the founder of the Behavioral Intervention Rehabilitation and Development Project (The BIRD Project) and brings over a decade of experience working with individuals across all walks of life—from youth navigating foster care to adults overcoming persistent mental health challenges.
Kimberly holds a B.A. in Psychology from Winston-Salem State University and a Master’s in Social Work from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. Her passion lies in empowering marginalized communities and creating safe, affirming spaces for healing and growth.
