Great to meet you!

I'm Ed, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 20+ years of experience working with adults navigating serious mental health challenges, co-occurring substance use, and complex life circumstances. I've spent most of my career working in the community, in people's homes, neighborhoods, and the everyday spaces where real life actually happens, and I bring that grounded, practical perspective to my telehealth sessions.

My approach to therapy

I don't use a one-size-fits-all approach. I draw on Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, harm reduction, and trauma-informed practice to build something that actually fits you. My style is calm and direct. I listen without interrupting, I don't rush to fill the silence, and clients consistently tell me they feel genuinely heard. That's not a small thing. It's the foundation of any real progress.

What you can expect from me

Life gets complicated, and sometimes the weight of what we're carrying becomes too much to manage on our own. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, bipolar disorder, or the kind of deep exhaustion that comes from years of just getting by, you deserve support that takes your whole story seriously.

I work especially well with adults who have felt overlooked by other systems, who carry complicated histories, or who need someone who won't be rattled by complexity. If you've been told your situation is too much, it isn't.

Ready to get started, or just wondering if this might be a good fit? Reach out. I'd love to connect.
