Great to meet you!

If anxiety, depression, or the weight of past trauma has started to feel like it's steering your life instead of you, that's exactly where I do my best work. I'm Erica, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, and I think of myself as your therapeutic GPS — you set the destination, and I help you find the route. I work with children, teens, adults, and couples, and I bring genuine respect, real-world knowledge, and yes, some humor to every session, because feeling comfortable with your therapist actually matters for getting better.

My approach to therapy

My foundation is trauma-focused CBT — practical, proven tools for untangling how painful experiences shape your thoughts and reactions today. Together we'll notice the patterns keeping you stuck, then build concrete skills to change them, drawing on mindfulness and solution-focused strategies depending on what fits you. Think of it as regular maintenance for the soul: just like a car, you run better and last longer when you don't wait for a breakdown to get support.

What you can expect from me

Expect a real conversation, not an interrogation. We'll talk about what brought you in, what's felt hardest lately, and where you want to end up — and you'll likely find yourself laughing at least once, because I believe therapy works best when you can be fully human in the room. From there, we map the route together, at your pace.
