Great to meet you!

Hello! Taking the first step toward therapy is not always easy. Reaching out for support often requires courage, vulnerability, and hope that things can get better. My goal is to create a welcoming, comfortable environment where you feel safe to share your experiences, explore challenges, and begin your healing journey at your own pace.

With over 20 years of counseling experience, I have worked with adults facing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, family conflict, anger management, grief and loss, life transitions, and stress. I understand that every person's story is unique, and I believe therapy should be tailored to your individual needs, strengths, and goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, open-minded, and compassionate. I strive to provide a nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, valued, and understood. Whether you are navigating overwhelming emotions, working through past experiences, strengthening relationships, or simply seeking a better understanding of yourself, I will walk alongside you with encouragement, empathy, and support.

I utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), mindfulness-based interventions, and other trauma-informed techniques. Together, we will identify the approaches that best support your personal growth and emotional well-being.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know one another and discussing what brings you to therapy. This is your opportunity to ask questions, share your concerns, and discuss what you hope to gain from the therapeutic process. From there, we'll work collaboratively to develop goals that feel meaningful and achievable for you.

I believe that healing happens through connection, self-awareness, and the development of practical tools that can be used in everyday life. My hope is that you leave each session feeling supported, empowered, and better equipped to navigate life's challenges with confidence and resilience.

No matter where you are in your journey, you do not have to face it alone. I would be honored to support you as you work toward healing, balance, and lasting positive change.
