Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm Dr. Eve. I have worked in a variety of mental/behavioral health settings since 2010. My Masters degree is in Mental Health Counseling and my PhD is in I-O Psychology, which is the study of how people behave in organizations. I've also served as an ecumenical chaplain serving multiple religions. My specialties include dealing with trauma and anxiety, workplace difficulties, relationship challenges, personal sense of meaning, finding identity, family issues, and many other related needs.

My approach to therapy

My style is very warm and validating. I'll offer support and encouragement but also remind you that you are in control of our sessions and your own choices for growth. I'll offer direction and resources, but I'm incredibly non-judgmental and accepting. While I subscribe to theories like humanism, existentialism, and CBT, I'm still a strong proponent of what science and research can teach us about the human mind.

What you can expect from me

First, we'll work on helping you feel safe and stable through techniques meant to soothe the nervous system. Second, we'll untangle the thoughts and emotions you are experiencing to help you choose more adaptive ways of seeing the world. Third, we'll focus on your strengths to empower your ability to achieve goals and feel confidence.
