Dr. Imac Holmes

I am a licensed professional counselor in Arizona, Washington, Nebraska, South Carolina, Florida, New Jersey, Delaware and Pennsylvania. I hold a doctorate in Counselor Education and serve as aa Associate Professor, bringing both clinical expertise and a deep commitment to the training of future counselors. Over the years, I have dedicated my work to supporting youth and families from urban, rural, and tribal settings, which has shaped my perspective on resilience and the unique strengths each individual carries. My counseling style is warm, compassionate, and client-centered, grounded in a strength-based, non-pathological view of people. I embrace a holistic perspective of health that incorporates emotional, relational, spiritual, and faith dimensions. My Christian faith guides my values of empathy, integrity, and respect, while I welcome and support clients from all walks of life.

My approach to therapy is walking with others through their journey—existential and client-centered, with a focus on making meaning of life’s challenges and transitions. I embrace a holistic perspective of health that incorporates emotional, relational, spiritual, and faith dimensions. I believe people can truly blossom when they are provided with a safe and supportive environment to process, heal, and grow.
