Jasmine Jackson

Welcome! My name is Jasmine; I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 10 years of nursing experience and 18 years of healthcare experience. I received my Masters of Science in Nursing from Purdue University with a focus in psychiatry and mental health. I am board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner. I am also certified as a clinical trauma specialist in trauma and addiction through the Arizona Trauma Institute. I have experience working with adolescents and adults with dual diagnoses (mental health and substance use conditions) and primary mental health concerns. I have experience with diagnosis and treatment of ADHD/ADD, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and many other psychiatric/behavioral health conditions.

My passion for mental wellness dates as far back as I can remember, with a firm belief in patient-centered care and patient collaboration and participation in care. I appreciate the unique circumstances of every patient and work with the patient (and support network) to establish a care plan that is not only beneficial, but also accessible and sustainable for their mental health and wellbeing. It is my belief that there are no cookie cutter treatment plans and that a comprehensive approach to patient care is necessary for optimal results and patient satisfaction.

During our first session, you can expect an in-depth overview of medical, psychiatric, and medication history. We will discuss your overall goals for treatment and share expectations with one another. We will also discuss previous treatments and what has worked or not worked in the past. At the end of the session, we will summarize the visit and establish a clear path forward.
