Jeff Bergstrom

In 1998, I began my professional career supporting child and parent interaction programs in an effort to help improve communication and attachment in those relationships. Prior to that, I participated in my own healing and recovery from traumatic family of origin experiences. As a result of that work and ongoing professional trainings, I've developed a clinical practice focusing on the "whole body" including the nervous system, integrating improved functioning using mindfulness self compassion.

In my care, your safety and holistic well-being are the primary concerns. My approach centers around attuning to your emotional, mental, somatic and behavioral needs. In an effort to support your personal growth, transformational and individual goals, I integrate both traditional and non-traditional modalities making it possible for you to achieve clarity, recovery and connection with yourself in the present moment.

This is not easy work yet, as a result of your participation in your own recovery with me, you can expect to begin to know a new person you never knew before. This person is your true/authentic self and it's the part of you prior to the overwhelming early childhood emotional injuries that then developed coping skills to survive or avoid the pain. You will discover skills to practice in your recovery from that pain while integrating healthy self care, self compassion and self love into your life.
