I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with over 20 years of experience helping individuals restore balance, build resilience, and reconnect with purpose. My approach blends evidence-based therapy with a compassionate, person-centered style that supports clients in navigating stress, anxiety, life transitions, and relationship challenges.
As a bilingual (English/Spanish) and bicultural therapist, I provide a space where every client feels seen, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change.
Kokoro—a Japanese word meaning “mind, heart, and spirit”—reflects my belief that healing begins when the whole self is engaged with authenticity and intention.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I work from a strengths-based and evidence-informed perspective, drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and solution-focused techniques to help clients manage stress, anxiety, and life transitions.
I believe therapy should feel supportive but also empowering, a space to gain insight, learn new skills, and create lasting change. My goal is to help clients reconnect with their core values and develop tools to restore balance and resilience in daily life.
Our first session is a chance to get to know each other and begin understanding what’s bringing you to therapy. We’ll talk about your goals, current challenges, and what’s been working or not working for you. I’ll share a bit about my approach and answer any questions you have so you feel comfortable with the process.
Together, we’ll start to identify what balance and well-being look like for you and create a plan that feels realistic and supportive, one step at a time.
