Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Jenny — I’m really glad you’re here.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) offering therapy to clients in North Carolina, Connecticut, Maine, South Carolina, Utah, and Virginia. I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals and families across many seasons of life, and I especially enjoy helping people find balance, healing, and confidence as they navigate life’s ups and downs.

My professional background includes community mental health, private practice, and extensive experience supporting military families—something close to my heart as a military spouse myself. I understand how overwhelming transitions, deployments, and constant change can be, and I bring that real-world understanding into the therapy space.

I work with children, teens, and adults, and I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). My clinical focus includes anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, ADHD, self-esteem, and adjustment-related concerns. I strive to tailor therapy to each person’s unique needs, meeting clients where they are with warmth, honesty, and a collaborative approach.

Whether you’re seeking support for yourself or your child, my goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and understood. You can learn more about my approach and services at jenny-ketterer.com, and I’d be honored to walk alongside you in your therapy journey.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when it feels like teamwork. We’ll explore what’s been weighing on you, identify patterns, and find strategies that actually fit your life. Some days, that might mean processing difficult experiences; other times, it’s about learning new coping tools or simply having a space to breathe and regroup. I keep therapy flexible, compassionate, and real—and yes, we might even share a laugh along the way.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, but you don’t have to have it all figured out to begin. During our first session, we’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what you hope to get from therapy, and how we can work together toward those goals. I’ll make sure you understand confidentiality and feel comfortable from the start.

As we continue, our sessions will focus on what matters most to you—whether that’s finding calm, rebuilding confidence, or navigating life changes. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling seen, supported, and encouraged to keep moving forward at your own pace. Every session will be tailored to what you need in the moment.
