Great to meet you!

My therapy experience consists of various community placements treating mental health and addiction. I specialize in working with co-occurring mental health disorders and trauma. My passion is helping others who are struggling with distressing life experiences that want to take that next step to heal. If you’ve stumbled upon my page and feel like you want to work through something that feels heavy, then I am here to help you unpack it and pull out the strength within you to move forward.

My approach to therapy

Coming to therapy can be intimidating and my goal is to show each one of my clients sincerity, compassion, and empathy to create a safe space for recovery and growth. My therapeutic approach draws on several evidence-based techniques to develop a treatment plan with you, that is tailored to your specific needs. I use approaches such as EMDR, Trauma Focused CBT, Psychodynamic Therapy, Narrative therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy and Interpersonal Psychotherapy.

What you can expect from me

Trauma often leaves individuals feeling powerless; and I want my clients to feel empowered to rewrite their stories with the growth and resilience that is fostered during therapy. While in therapy my clients can expect a supportive space to process residual feelings and change the unhelpful narratives that have been lingering. We will work together to develop your coping skills, increase your insight through self-reflection, and challenge problematic behavioral or relationship patterns.
