My approach to therapy

I believe the best care starts with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, respect, and open communication. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing your experiences and concerns.

I take a collaborative approach to treatment, partnering with you to understand your goals and develop a personalized plan that fits your life. Depending on your situation, this may include medication management, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), lifestyle strategies, or a combination of approaches. Together, we'll focus on building practical coping skills, improving your overall well-being, and helping you make meaningful, lasting progress.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an unhurried, 60-minute initial evaluation designed to help us get to know each other and understand your goals. We will explore what brought you to care, your current symptoms, your medical and mental health history, and what has or hasn’t worked for you in the past.

I know that talking about your mental health can feel vulnerable, so we will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. There is no pressure to have everything figured out.

By the end of our first meeting, we will collaborate on an initial, personalized treatment plan. Whether that includes starting a medication, adjusting a current regimen, integrating supportive therapy, or focusing on lifestyle adjustments, you will leave with a clear understanding of the next steps in your care.
