Great to meet you!

I'm Joellen Rhyndress, LCSW, and I specialize in working with veterans, first responders, and executives — and I genuinely love this work. I'm trained in EMDR and have spent years as a trauma expert, particularly around critical incidents and life-disrupting events. I've worked with over 250 clients and I understand your world, your culture, and what it takes to finally ask for help.

My approach to therapy

I'm direct, solution-focused, and I will challenge you — in the best way possible. We'll work together using proven methods like CBT, mindfulness, and EMDR, tailored to what you actually need. If you're someone who's used to getting things done, you'll feel right at home here.

What you can expect from me

Come as you are — no preparation needed and no pressure to have it all together. We'll talk about what's bringing you in and what you're hoping to get out of therapy. I'll be real with you from the start, and by the time we're done you'll know exactly what working together will look like.
