Great to meet you!

I’m John, a LGBTQ+ identified (he/they) psychotherapist. I practice through a mindfulness-based, psychodynamic, attachment-based, social justice-oriented, and relational lens.

My approach to therapy

Feeling stuck? On the surface, it might look like you’ve got everything under control—but inside, you may be juggling anxiety, self-doubt, or fatigue. Work, relationships, and daily pressures can leave you drained, caught in loops of overthinking, burnout, or people-pleasing. And beneath all of that, there may be a quiet longing to feel more grounded, more authentic, and more connected to yourself. In our work together, we’ll slow things down and make space for what’s going on. We’ll gently uncover the patterns that keep you feeling weighed down, and begin building new pathways toward clarity.

I am affirming of LGBTQ+ individuals, couples, and partners (poly/kink affirming).

My approach is grounded in person-centered care, neuroscience, and trauma-informed practice. I support clients navigating identity exploration, life transitions, depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, existential questions, and the impacts of discrimination and marginalization. For those healing from trauma or PTSD, I also offer EMDR.

What you can expect from me

Whether it’s your first time or you’re beginning again with someone new, starting therapy can feel vulnerable. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and accepted just as you are. Reach out and let’s find a time to meet to answer questions you may have.
