Great to meet you!

I'm licensed in AZ , ID, and WA. I expect that the work we do in session will translate into your everyday life outside of session. I hold my clients with high regard and expect them to do the work toward recovery. Those who I accept as my clients have a strong desire to get themselves together will do great work toward recovery. The the goal is short term care for long term gain.

My approach to therapy

In addition to traditional CBT talk therapy, I offer Brainspotting, a powerful brain-body treatment. While many are familiar with EMDR, Brainspotting is often found to be more effective and efficient as it bypasses the "thinking" brain to access the subcortical system where trauma is actually stored. This allows for deeper processing and more rapid healing without the need to relive every detail of the trauma.

I specialize in supporting clients dealing with discrimination, mistreatment, and racial trauma. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and certified insomnia treatment therapist, I have extensive experience addressing women's issues, ADHD, anxiety, and depression. I pride myself on serving marginalized communities, including BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ individuals.

On the side, I have taught yoga and Pilates and welcome incorporating somatic movement into our work together.

What you can expect from me

Evidence-based tools for mental health recovery. You will feel seen, heard, and acknowledged while being held accountable for your life's outcome. I will encourage you to challenge your negative thinking through CBT and Brainspotting, push when appropriate, and offer praise when progress is made.
