Great to meet you!

Juleah Berliner has over 17 years of experience working with adults seeking healing and recovery from trauma. Juleah is trained in EMDR and uses a trauma-informed, whole-person approach. She has additional training in substance use challenges, borderline personality disorder, attachment, and resiliency tools. She does not currently offer sessions after 3pm.

My approach to therapy

I believe in your strength and resilience, even when it’s hard for you to believe in these things yourself. I believe every human is on a journey from where they are now to where they want to be in the future and that, sometimes, we all need some help, support, space, and connection in order to figure out the next steps in our path. If you choose to work with me, you can expect to be treated with respect, kindness, fairness, and curiosity. I know that healing, recovery, and growth come from hard work and that anything hard is a little less hard when you don’t have to face it alone.

What you can expect from me

I value authenticity, curiosity, and every person’s innate capacity for resilience, and I show up to therapy sessions with those values always in mind. I value kindness and transparency, which you can expect to receive from me every time we meet. I value collaboration and hard work; I look forward to working together to identify challenges and opportunities for healing and growth. While I can be a support and a guide, you are ultimately the one who will do the hard work of learning new tools and skills, tapping into your innate strength and resilience, and choosing the path forward in your journey.
