Great to meet you!

My background is in substance use counseling and behavioral health, with experience supporting people at every stage of change - whether you’re just starting to question these behaviors or you’ve been concerned for a while.

I work with adults navigating alcohol, cannabis, gambling, and compulsive internet or phone use — issues that are common and often go unspoken: drinking that’s crept up over time, gambling that’s become a daily ritual, or using substances to manage stress, sleep, or emotions. These patterns are treatable, and getting support early can stop a spiral before it becomes a crisis.

I hold a Master’s in Counseling Psychology and an MBA, and I’m independently licensed to practice in multiple states.

My approach to therapy

I take a harm reduction-informed, client-led approach - I don’t believe recovery is one-size-fits-all. I draw on tools like motivational interviewing, CBT, and ACT to meet you where you are and build on what’s already working for you. When it comes to group support, I see programs like SMART Recovery or 12-step as something to draw from, not something required - take what helps, leave the rest.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a low-pressure conversation. We’ll talk about what’s been going on, what you’ve already tried, and what you actually want things to look like. Are you interested in a one time assessment, short or longer term support? We’ll decide if it’s a good fit and make a plan from there.
