Great to meet you!
My name is Ken Taylor, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and i am a certified addictions counselor with over 25 years of experience.
I am a disabled veteran, and a person in long-term recovery from addiction and criminality. My personal and professional experiences allow me to bring both clinical training and real-world understanding to the work I do with clients. I believe meaningful change happens when honesty, accountability, and hope come together in a supportive environment.
I specialize in helping individuals address substance use, behavioral patterns, trauma, and life challenges that can leave people feeling stuck or overwhelmed. My goal as a therapist is to help you identify the beliefs, behaviors, and patterns that may no longer serve you and work together to develop healthier ways of thinking and living.
Because of my background in recovery and service, I have a strong understanding of the challenges faced by individuals dealing with addiction, criminal justice involvement, trauma, and major life transitions. I strive to create a space where clients feel respected, understood, and challenged in a positive way.
Seeking help takes courage. Whether you are working to overcome addiction, manage difficult thoughts and emotions, or simply want to move toward a healthier and more purposeful life, I would be honored to walk alongside you in that process.
