Great to meet you!

Therapy is meant to be healing and helpful. My use of DBT, CBT and trauma focused interventions will help improve management of high stress, increase meaningful communication with those significant in your life, increase self awareness, and better regulate intense emotions. With over 12 years in the profession as a LCSW supporting crisis interventions at all levels of care, safety will always be a priority. I welcome all ages 12 and up including backgrounds with military, family, and medical stable eating disorders.

My approach to therapy

I love to meet people where they are at with a non-judgmental stance. Meaning, you know you best. Your motivation for change is what matters and building rapport is important in leveraging meaningful change. Use of personal strengths is important in growth. Having an ally in life can improve meaning and purpose.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will involve getting to know you and developing a treatment plan, identifying what your needs of care are. From there, we will utilize sessions to target specific needs with skills education and enhancement. Allowing space for emotional safety with vulnerable topics is my goal.
