Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with the state of Arkansas. I attended the University of Oklahoma where I received my Master of Human Relations degree with a focus on clinical counseling. I have spent over a decade providing mental health services in various clinical settings including therapeutic day treatment for children and adolescents, behavioral health hospitals, and outpatient services. I have completed training in evidenced-based therapeutic approaches such as trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), child-parent psychotherapy (CPP), and eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). I have also completed the Postpartum International Support training in perinatal mental health and am passionate about assisting birthing individuals throughout the perinatal period. Populations that I service include children (10+), adolescents, and adults across various stages of life and situations, such as depression, anxiety, anger, trauma, LGBTQ+ individuals, postpartum difficulties, and those undergoing significant life transitions.

My approach to therapy

The therapeutic approaches that I primarily use include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), client-centered therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

What you can expect from me

As your therapist, I will always strive to maintain a supportive and nonjudgemental environment where you will feel heard and cared for. I will provide endless support and will challenge you when it is necessary to do so. Through challenges is when we see our greatest moments of growth. I truly feel privileged each time an individual is willing to share their story with me and I believe that each individual has the ability to achieve healing despite their life experiences.
