Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker who has personally and professionally experienced the power of being witnessed in times of struggle. I have been practicing for over 10 years with a focus in supporting those who are navigating the impacts of cancer and/or chronic illness as well as those grieving a loss.

My clients are often navigating the challenges of a cancer diagnosis, living with chronic illness, caring for someone with a serious health condition, or grieving a loss. They’re looking for compassionate support and guidance as they face the stress and realities of their circumstances, as well as someone who can help them hold onto hope. Many are seeking a therapist who truly “gets it”—someone who understands the unique emotional landscape of these experiences and can offer new perspectives, validation, and support as they explore questions of identity and meaning in the midst of a new reality.

My approach to therapy

I have a deep understanding of the unique emotional landscape of cancer, chronic illness, and grief and can offer validation, new perspectives and support. I believe humor can play a powerful role when the time is right and always bring compassion and full presence to the work I do.

What you can expect from me

Finding a therapist you feel comfortable with is an important part of the healing process. Once we have decided we're a good fit, we will have an initial session where you can share more about yourself and what you're hoping for from therapy. And if you're unsure, we'll figure it out together.
