Great to meet you!

As a licensed therapist with over three decades of experience, I specialize in supporting individuals through life's complex challenges. My practice centers on helping clients navigate stress, anxiety, family dynamics, grief, and significant life transitions. I have worked with a vast population: healthcare, residential, mental health and the unhoused.

“Only those who sow seeds of change can hope to grow and reap a harvest.”

-Andrea Goeglein

My approach to therapy

I bring a compassionate and nuanced approach to addressing communication challenges, workplace issues, and personal growth. My work is deeply rooted in understanding the unique experiences of women, young adults, and individuals facing profound life changes, including those dealing with cancer or end-of-life transitions. I am committed to creating a supportive, empathetic space where clients can explore their personal narratives, heal from past experiences, and develop meaningful strategies for emotional well-being. Drawing from my extensive background, I offer culturally responsive care that honors each individual's journey. My goal is to walk alongside you, providing thoughtful guidance and support as you move toward greater understanding, resilience, and personal empowerment.

What you can expect from me

Our initial session will allow us to get to know one another and what brings you to therapy. The thought of sharing your most intimate feelings can be scary, especially with a stranger. My goal is to assist you in feeling comfortable with the process. The first session will again focus on the “what, when and how” of your presenting concerns to identify planning.

My style is interactive but varies depending on the needs and personality of the client(s). I see the therapy process as a team effort with ongoing review of client satisfaction. You can ask questions and tell me anything on your mind. I will listen to your perspective and work with you to provide relief to your concerns. If you feel this is a good start to your healing, I invite you to schedule your initial session within a week of this communication. Review your schedule in alignment of my availability.
